All File Shares

The All Shares screen is mainly used as a navigational aid, though it does report interesting statistics about the files on the shares listed. Double-clicking the share in the grid will expose a set of reports for just that share allowing you to drill into the details. Each of the “day” fields shows the number of files on the share that were created or modified within that time period exclusive of earlier time periods. This gives you an idea on where your older, less used files are stored. As you review the details we’ll help you decide whether it might not make sense to move those files to a more inexpensive storage option like glacial cloud storage, or simply archiving the files and removing them from storage entirely.
